Terms of Service

By accessing or using DariScript, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Service Description

DariScript provides automated subtitle transcription for Moroccan Darija audio content, with optional Arabizi (Latin-script) conversion. Output is provided in standard .srt and .vtt formats.

Transcription accuracy is not guaranteed to be 100%. Results depend on audio quality, language mix, and background noise. We recommend reviewing generated subtitles before publishing.

2. Accounts

You must sign in using Google authentication to access the full features of DariScript. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use this service.

3. Usage Limits

All plans include usage limits. Current limits are displayed on the pricing page and enforced automatically. Plans are defined as follows:

• Free — 3 audio files per month, up to 3 minutes per audio file, 9 total minutes per month.
• Creator — 20 audio files per month, up to 15 minutes per audio file, 300 total minutes per month.

Exceeding your plan limits will restrict transcription access until the next billing cycle reset (every 30 days from your first use of the period).

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use DariScript to:

• Upload, process, or distribute illegal content of any kind.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or authentication.
• Abuse, overload, or disrupt service infrastructure.
• Upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property.
• Resell or redistribute the service without written permission.

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Payments and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are processed through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date.

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting ilyass@acture.co. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The DariScript platform, branding, and codebase are owned by us. You retain full ownership of any content you upload and any subtitle files you generate.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or specific transcription accuracy. We are not liable for any damages arising from inaccurate transcription output.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DariScript shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 30 days preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to DariScript at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Morocco. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Moroccan courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of DariScript after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
